What’s A Way We Can Better The World?

I. Community Health Education Advocacy & Purpose

The P.E.A.C.H. Project is a project that stands for Promoting Educational Advocacy in Community Health. It was designed to promote community advocacy in community health education.

The image of the a peach was used to give off the symbolic meaning of youth, immortality, and the continuous process of the renewal of life.

The P.E.A.C.H. Project’s purpose is to teach health advocacy to the communities locally and the communities worldwide. There are 3 current components that helps this project to thrive. The project is currently contracted with Ameri Health Caritas NC that helps to aligned the vision and make the project a community success.

II. Current Components

1. Collaboration (i.e. contracting with different health and wellness companies to help with creating various health education programs and incentives for the community. Collaboration can also serve as an aid to help companies promote employee wellness with health education sessions & monthly incentives for employees)  

2. Community Engagement (i.e. creating different health education programs that will engage the community and teach different elements of health and wellness)

3. Community Service (i.e. Serving the community and participating in outreach to better learn the needs of the community)
